Redesigning Design

Making our products in a way that considers their long-term impact on the environment is at the core of every business decision we make. At Interface, sustainability isn't just lip service; it is woven into all of the processes that bring our products to market - from research and development, to design and manufacturing, and even distribution and marketing. We continually explore more sustainable ways to make our products that take less from the earth's natural resources and produce less waste. We are increasingly looking for ways to create a "closed dynamic loop." For Interface, this means becoming less dependent on virgin raw materials, introducing existing materials from various waste streams into our manufacturing process, and creating new products that are fully recyclable.
